Data visualisation of sonic patterns recorded at Melbourne Square Crossing. Made from a site-specific audio recording, time is represented horizontally on the x-axis, sonic frequency on the vertical y-axis, and colour indicates decibel intensity.

Peak Frequency is a hypnotic representation of our public space, reflecting and distributing what is already there in pursuit of encouraging critical awareness of the systematic and routine foundations of our public lives.

Artist Impression of Peak Frequency at Melbourne Square Crossing, the work will be on display in late 2020.
